Click on image below to see video how Homelessness is Spiralling Out of Control under Justin Trudeau Vancouver Tent City to Temporarily Close Over Unsafe and Unhygienic Conditions (Epoch Times, 3/12/2024) Vancouver officials say dozens of homeless people staying in the city’s only legal encampment have to temporarily move because the site has become unsafe and unhygienic. Deputy city manager Sandra Singh says the section of Crab Park designated for the tent city will be shut for a week starting March 25 so equipment can be brought in to clean piles of debris and unsafe structures. Ms. Singh says the city’s actions are not a decampment, since the estimated 30 to 50 people staying at the site will be allowed to return after being temporarily moved to an undisclosed location elsewhere in the park. Residents living in the park say discussions around leaving their homes should wait until a human rights complaint is heard that alleges they are not being provided with basic needs such as washrooms and electricity. Ms. Singh says if the people staying at the Crab Park site don’t comply with the rules after the area is cleaned up, such as not bringing in propane tanks, then they'll have to reconsider allowing the encampment to remain. The encampment began in 2021 and remained in place a year later when a B.C. Supreme Court judge set aside eviction notices, in part because the city didn’t have enough indoor shelter spaces to accommodate those living in tents. Homeless Man Asks Policeman for Blanket—So He Buys Him $150 in Supplies at Walmart (Epoch Times, 3/18/2024) A homeless man in Georgia in the USA held up a sign saying “Waiting for a Blessing” and a kind hearted police officer who knew it would be cold that night, took the man to Walmart and bought him supplies to keep him warm. Stories like this warm your heart at the generosity and caring of some toward the homeless. There are similar stories in Canada as well where people go out of their way to help the homeless. But these are too far and few between! For the majority of homeless they sleep out in the cold in conditions that are hard to bear and for some, it becomes deadly. Unfortunately, in Justin Trudeau’s Canada, homelessness is spiralling out of control. His inflationary policies are harming every sector of the economy and this means less homes that people can afford and rental prices are skyrocketing too in order to keep up with Trudeau’s inflation! Everyone loses….but none so horribly as the homeless! WE NEED A GOVERNMENT THAT CARES ABOUT THE HOMELESS, NOT ONE THAT PUSHES THEM ASIDE. WE NEED A GOVERNMENT THAT IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING HOMELESSNESS IN CANADA WITHIN 1 YEAR. THE FREEDOM PARTY OF CANADA IS THE ONLY PARTY WITH A PLAN TO PERMANENTLY ELIMINATE HOMELESSNESS IN CANADA!!! In our expansion of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Freedom Party of Canada will provide every homeless person in Canada employment, a roof over their heads, daily food and an income and a chance at living a decent life! Those who need rehabilitation will be chanelled into new sections of the military that focus on rehab and getting well while transitioning back into working again. Jobs will be made available that take into account the physical wellness and abilities of each homeless individual. Each will be eligible for a full pension after 20 years service and will have full access to a full benefits plan as well. In our plan it will be illegal to: 1) Sleep or live on the streets 2) Sleep or live in public parks 3) Sleep or live in or on government property 4) Set up homeless shelters 5) Beg for money or food 6) Stand by highway entrances asking for help 7) Sleep or live in cemeteries 8) Set up camp sites of over 1 week duration 9) Sleep or live in abandoned buildings 10) Ask for a place to stay overnight What will happen to people who do these things you might ask? The homeless have many reasons for being homeless including but not limited to unemployment, relationship and family issues, drug and alcohol addictions, gambling problems and many more. Regardless of their reason for being homeless, each person will be treated with compassion and put in our government program. They will be detained and first and foremost given shelter, food and clothing. Secondly it will be determined if they have employment. Anyone unemployed will be conscripted into the military as mentioned above and given whatever rehabilitation they need, a job, a roof over their heads, daily food, and a stable income with benefits. New sections of the military will be created to deal with this. NO OTHER PARTY HAS HAD A PLAN TO COMPLETELY ELIMINATE HOMELESSNESS IN CANADA AND IF THEY HAD ANY PLAN, THEY NEVER PUT IT INTO ACTION!!!
