Electing the Senate With 8 Year Term Limits! Enough with the Liberal and Conservative Cronyism! They stack the Senate with people who are going to support their bills and laws and make it an unfair judicial arena! It’s time this stopped completely! It’s time that all Senators are elected by the people of Canada and that they are not there until they die… 8 year term limits! The Freedom Party of Canada will do just that… we will make sure there are elections every 2 years for the Senate and that no Senator will be able to stay longer than 8 years. Additionally, we will eliminate “double dipping”. Any Senator that receives a pension for being any political position in Canada will not be able to receive a 2nd pension for being a Senator!
