Illegal Protests The Freedom Party of Canada supports peaceful protests. They will not support protests of any kind that try to block transportation like the one above. The Freedom Party of Canada will also impose 5 year jail sentences for any protester who films the blocking of transportation routes or is involved in it in any way at all. There will also be 5 year jail sentences for any protesters who create any type of property damage or vandalism and they will be liable to pay for the value of said damage, even if it takes them a lifetime to pay! Transportation routes will not be considered to be blocked if there is a way for traffic to get through. Activists on bicycles and driving cars blocked intersections for the activists. The action blocked traffic along the route for hours. Anti-Israel activists have previously blocked intersections, bridges, and even freeways with little to no action from the authorities in other locations. Judge rules there’s no probable cause to charge Seattle freeway-blocking Gaza protesters with criminal trespass (American News, May 3, 2024) A liberal activist judge in Washington who issued a ruling this week in a case involving anti- Israel activists who blocked a major freeway in downtown Seattle previously liked a "Free Palestine" and other pro-Hamas social media posts shortly after the deadly Oct 7 attacks. On Wednesday, six of the defendants charged with blockading the I-5 freeway in downtown Seattle to support Hamas appeared in court for a hearing. The defendants include 2 Seattle public school teachers and an Antifa militant with ties to MS-13. Five of the defendants were charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct by the King County Prosecutor's Office. One was only charged with just disorderly conduct. Judge Andrea Jarmon ruled that there was no probable cause for the criminal trespass charges against three defendants after defense attorneys argued that prosecutors used social media posts for the investigation and "lumped everyone together," while identifying the defendants. One of the defendants included in the ruling is Seattle Public School teacher James “Whitney” Parker who not only posted a video of him walking on the freeway to social media but also admitted it during public comment at a Seattle Public School Board meeting. The other was Christina Devitt who is an Antifa militant who was involved in the 2020 BLM riots and has ties to the violent MS-13 gang. You don't see a lot of judges on social media. If they are, they usually use an alias for security & to not violate ethics rules by showing bias King County District Court Judge Andrea Jarmon doesn't have those concerns & openly likes posts supporting Hamas Days after the Oct 7 attacks, the worst pogrom since the Holocaust, Deputy Executive Director of the Washington State Bar Dua Abudiab appropriated the writings of renowned Holocaust author and survivor Elie Wiesel criticizing people for not standing up to the Nazis and used the writings to advocated for Hamas and concluded with “Free Palestine.” Jarmon “loved” the Facebook post then took the Elie Weisel quote and posted it to her own Facebook page. The Commission on Judicial Conduct has strict rules specifically to avoid the appearance of any judge having a bias. Many pointed out that Jews, Israelis, Israeli Arabs, and Israeli Christians would not be able to expect impartial rulings from Jamon. At the hearing, all six defendants pleaded not guilty and have trial dates set for June. Vancouver Police Arrest 14 Pro-Palestinian Protesters After Rail Lines Blocked (Epoch Times, 6/1/2024) Police have arrested 14 people at a protest by pro-Palestinian demonstrators who were blocking rail lines in Vancouver on Friday. Cst. Tania Visintin said protesters who were blocking the Canadian National Railway lines in East Vancouver refused multiple requests to move and some “became hostile” with officers. She said in a statement that more than three hours after police were called, 14 protesters were arrested for mischief and obstruction at 2:30 p.m. “Unlawful protests that block vital infrastructure put people’s safety at risk,” said Visintin. She said the police action was “to prevent a prolonged blockade” and also involved CN Police—the railway’s private police force—and Metro Vancouver Transit Police. The protesters had earlier issued a news release showing people on the tracks, saying they were demanding sanctions against Israel over its actions in Gaza.
