Freedom Party of Canada
Prosperity for All The Un-Canadian Way! What do I mean when I say “Properity for All” and what do I mean when I say it’s the Un- Canadian way? You can look at any time period in Canadian history…that is the history of the nation of Canada which began officially in 1867….and you can find poverty. Throughout our history this has always been evident among our indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit etc.). Placing native peoples on reserves was the beginning of this process. They got land “reserved” for them….land that wasn’t prime land … it was often the leftover land that the Canadian government didn’t want. The idea was to get native peoples “out of the way” and nothing in Canadian history was more wrong than this. To some extent these attitudes still exist in today’s society but in a more inconspicuous way. Some people, especially the radical far left of the political spectrum (communists, socialists including Marxists, NDP etc) feel the only way to achieve prosperity is to attack from the top down…. “tax the rich” is the mantra. Nothing could be more ridiculous and stupid. That is unless you prefer mediocrity and a non progressive way of life. By the way… when I use the word progressive, I tie it to real progress. The way the far left uses “progressive” these days is what I’d call “regressive” because it takes us back in time to days when life was harder and to times where there is no moral compass in our nation. No the way to prosperity is not to bring the top down…. it is to bring the bottom up! Raise up those on the bottom, those in poverty to levels where poverty and homelessness is no longer existent….where it is a thing of the past… a past we’ve learned from and will never make those mistakes again! This is where the Freedom Party of Canada is going…. to a place where every Canadian citizen is “Free from tyranny, Free from Poverty and Free to Choose the life they wish” without interference from the government, other citizens or the world at large. Click on the image below to see a video about how Canada has a Monopoly problem Good business practice in a Capitalist economy is to encourage competition! When monopolies occur, prices go up and the people pay more. Not good! The Freedom Party of Canada has a two fold approach to monopolies: First we will remove loopholes (laws, bills, and other legislation) that promote monopolies. Secondly, we will create government alternatives to monopolies that keep prices for consumers affordable. It’s a win-win for Canadians! Click the image below to see how You’re Not Free! The Government Owns You!! How Climate Change Narrative Is Preventing Africa From Modernizing and Gaining Prosperity (Epoch Times, April 19, 2024) In November 2023, to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel use, the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto, cut subsidies for fertilizer, fuel, and electricity for the 2023/2024 financial year. He did so at the behest of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a financial agency of the United Nations (U.N.). “I come from a community where people use cow dung to fertilize their farms,” Mr. Machogu said. “And the reason for that is because last year, the government of Kenya decided that they were going to listen to what the IMF was telling them. It was telling them to end fertilizer subsidies. “You can imagine how that’s going to impact farmers. The fertilizer prices went up by almost two times. We have very poor people around here. So, if I was [purchasing] 20 kilos for my farm, I’m forced to get 10 kilos now. “Most people have gone back to using cow dung, which is not a good nitrogenous fertilizer for their crop. You can’t compare urea, with a 46 percent nitrogenous content, to cow dung, with only four percent. It doesn’t make sense.” Mr. Machogu said the IMF and the Western nations that embrace climate policies for Africa are engaging in neocolonialism, or “climate colonialism.” And it’s no different than past colonialism, the likes of which liberal elites, such as former President Barack Obama, have condemned. The new climate colonialism is being driven by global entities such as the U.N., which says Africa should have energy, but due to climate change concerns, it should focus on wind and solar. Mr. Machogu criticized the U.N.’s 2023 Sustainable Development Goals for Africa, which he said were developed after U.N. employees went to Africa to study the issues facing the continent. From that expedition, U.N. employees came up with 17 “solutions.” “They said that one of the problems is climate change,” Mr. Machogu said. “It doesn’t make sense to me because I come from Africa. We have far bigger problems—people sleeping hungry, very poor people around me. I’m more worried about that than I'll ever be worried about climate change. “Every solution to [Africa’s] problems is centered around climate change. [The UN says to Africa] ‘If you’re going to end poverty, let’s end it in a way that we don’t impact our climate. If you’re going to have clean water, let’s do it in a way that will not be too bad for the climate.” The Bottom Line is these agencies… the UN, the WEF and the WHO are using the Climate Change Hoax to create world poverty and turn the world upside down! But why? You must create a problem to enter the solution you came up with ahead of time…. create chaos in the world to weaken families, weaken countries and bring in One World Government. You will own nothing and be happy…. Bullshit Klaus! Click on the image below to see a video about how Canada’s Natural Resources are our source of wealth as a nation! Canadian oil is the greatest source of wealth of our country (along with fresh water). The Elites who want to control the world want to phase out oil and gas. Screw them! Their EV cars catch fire, and can’t handle our cold winters. As well, they can be used to control you in unspeakable ways! The Freedom Party of Canada will drill, drill, drill and export our oil worldwide to nations that need it. We will provide cheap oil and gas to the Canadian public! There is no Climate Change emergency….just a Climate Change Hoax! Trump Warns of ‘Death of American Dream’ as Inflation Persists (Epoch Times, 5/18/2024) While rallying in Minnesota, former President Donald Trump redoubled his focus on criticizing soaring inflation on President Joe Biden’s watch, claiming that the price hikes since his rival assumed office are costing the typical family an additional $1,165 dollars each month compared to the Trump presidency. “When I left office, we had NO INFLATION,” President Trump said in a Saturday morning post on Truth Social, his social media platform. “Yet in the past 3 years, the Biden Inflation Tax has cost the average Minnesota family a staggering $28,000 dollars—and the Biden Price Hikes are continuing to drain $1,165 dollars from the typical Minnesota family budget every single month!” High interest rates have made borrowing more expensive and put home ownership out of reach for many Americans, especially first-time homebuyers. Prospective homebuyers need to earn nearly twice as much to afford a typical home today as they did around four years ago, according to a recent study by Redfin. Globalist governments are doing this on purpose…. to bring in One World Government…. in order to do that, they first need to destroy their nations with massive inflation, massive immigration and denouncing all of a country’s resources which are the main source of wealth for each country. Trudeau is doing the same thing in Canada… these nations are on a parallel track except Trudeau is pressing a little harder on the gas pedal! How Canada has fallen in the world under Justin Trudeau! Embarrassing! Poverty Report Gives All Provinces ‘Failing’ Grade as 1 in 4 Canadians Face Food Insecurity (Epoch Times, 5/22/2024) One in four Canadians is experiencing food insecurity and many provinces received a worse “grade” on poverty reduction than a year prior, according to Food Banks Canada’s 2023 Poverty Report Card. “Though deeply concerning, these results are sadly unsurprising to the thousands of food banks across the country who have seen a 50 percent increase in visits since 2021,” said Food Banks Canada CEO Kirstin Beardsley in a release. The report also found that 44 percent of Canadians said they were worse off financially compared to 2023. Food Banks Canada first introduced its annual Poverty Report Cards in 2023 to compare how the different provinces are doing in various measures. That year, the province of Nova Scotia received an “F” rating, six provinces received between a D+ and a D-, two received a “C-” rating, and Quebec received a “B-”. In 2024, seven of the provinces received a rating of “D-” for their “insufficient approach to poverty reduction.” Nova Scotia’s rating improved to a “D-”, while Prince Edward Island’s rating rose from a “D+” to a “C-”, and Quebec’s rating dropped to a “C+”. The federal government’s rating declined from “D” in 2023 to a “D-” in 2024. Poverty in Canada Not Connected to Race, New Study Says (Epoch Times, 5/30/2024) A new study says poverty in Canada is not connected to race, and government programs aimed at solving race-based poverty are failing. The Aristotle Foundation’s study, Poverty and Race in Canada: Facts about Race, Discrimination, and the Poor, found that 64 percent of Canadians considered low-income are not from a visible minority or indigenous. “The overwhelming majority of the Canadian poor are ‘white’, and thus cannot receive race- based allocations from governments if unchangeable characteristics such as skin colour or ethnicity are accounted for in policy,” the think tank said in a news release. Report authors Matthew Lau and David Hunt said that based on data from Statistics Canada, the large majority of those living in poverty in Canada are from “white” backgrounds—or what Statistics Canada calls “not a visible minority nor Indigenous.” Based on after-tax income, “white” Canadians make up 64.4 percent of those living in relative poverty, the report says, compared with the next highest groups: Chinese at 7.5 percent, black at 5.8 percent, and South Asian at 5.5 percent. “Systemic racism is not the cause of poverty in Canada,” Mr. Lau said in the foundation’s release. Governments that have an anti-poverty policy to help those of “marginalized” backgrounds fail to help Canadians who need it, the report authors said, using Ontario’s Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Entrepreneurs (RAISE) Grant Program as an example. “This funding would be inaccessible to 64 percent of those who are low-income, and of those who do qualify for the funding based on race, only 11.9 percent are low-income. This is not a sensible way to design an anti-poverty program,” they wrote. The report notes that there is a formula to avoid poverty, and it includes finishing high school, working full time, and getting married before having children. “In Canada, 99 percent of adults who have followed the success sequence are not living in absolute poverty today,” the authors wrote. “Clearly, poverty in Canada is not a matter of one’s racial background.” The report comes as the Parliamentary Budget Officer says that homelessness in the country continues to rise, despite the money that Ottawa spends to fight it. The May 22 report said there has been a 20 percent increase in the number of homeless people since 2018, and a 38 percent increase in the number of “chronically homeless people.” The Freedom Party of Canada will eliminate all programs of any kind based upon race, religion or sexuality. It will treat all Canadians equally! Based upon the info above, maybe we need to have incentives for those who graduate high school, work full time and get married before having children! The Freedom Party of Canada will eliminate homelessness in Canada within 1 year of becoming the government! Productivity Declining in Every Canadian Province, StatCan Reports (Epoch Times, 5/22/2024) Productivity is on the decline in Canada with business performance dipping in all 10 provinces last year, according to the latest government statistics. While productivity decreased 2.2 percent in Canada as a whole, marking the country’s third consecutive annual decline, three of its largest provinces shoulder most of the blame, a report from Statistics Canada found. Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta accounted for more than 80 percent of the national decline in business productivity in 2023. Productivity is the number of products and services produced per hour and is key to a strong economy and high standard of living. The productivity of businesses offering goods and services also recorded declines in all provinces, with the exception of British Columbia. Investment and innovation are needed to boost productivity, yet the 2024 federal budget did not address this key concept and its impact on Canada’s economy, two experts told The Epoch Times. Jack Mintz, president’s fellow at the University of Calgary School of Public Policy, described plunging productivity as the “No. 1 problem facing Canada,” in a recent interview with The Epoch Times. Concordia University senior economics lecturer Moshe Lander had a similar view, and blamed Ottawa for inaction on the issue. “The biggest issue confronting Canada right now ... is lagging productivity,” he told The Epoch Times. “How do we boost productivity in Canada? There’s barely a mention of it in the budget.” Canada needs better competition in its industries to boost productivity, Mr. Lander said. He gave the example of telecommunications and the merger of Rogers and Shaw, completed last year, which reduced the “big four” companies in the industry to the “big three.” The budget could have included legislation to improve competition, he said. “Productivity falls ... because businesses are not worried about losing their customers,” said Mr. Lander. Mr. Mintz said other ways to boost productivity include lowering taxes and decreasing the regulatory burden on businesses. The number of hours worked increased more than business output in almost every province in 2023, contributing to the decline in productivity in all 10 provinces, StatCan said. The gross domestic product (GDP) of businesses rose in all provinces in 2023, except Newfoundland and Labrador. Despite that, GDP growth was slower in 2023 than in 2022. Canada’s real GDP per capita has been nearly stagnant since 2015, growing at 0.3 percent annually over the past nine years. That’s a full percentage point lower than advanced economies on average. The OECD, meanwhile, is predicting Canada will rank last for productivity growth over the next four decades among 38 developed economies. Another consequence of Canada’s productivity problem is less money in government coffers. That could impact Ottawa’s ability to pay off its debt, says Steve Ambler, professor emeritus of economics at Université du Québec à Montréal. “The thing that worries me in terms of federal government debt is we are currently in a period of extremely low productivity growth and low overall growth,” he previously told The Epoch Times. Bank of Canada senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers also warned last month that Canada’s poor productivity has officially reached emergency levels. Hmmmm….let’s see….what happened in 2015 to send us into a total death spiral of lack of productivity in our workforce….. Oh yes… Trudeau came to power. He has to go! 6 Million More Canadians in Poverty Than Previously Thought, Says Study Using New Metrics (Epoch Times, 6/18/2024) A new report shows a hidden level of poverty in Canada, with a quarter of Canadians reporting they cannot buy two or more household necessities. Using a material deprivation index (MDI) rather than the Market Basket Measure (MBM) test of household poverty, the report, published by Food Banks Canada, said that 25 percent of Canadians are living in poverty, six million more than identified in Statistics Canada’s poverty rate data, they said. The report is co-authored by Michael Mendelson, a former deputy minister in Ontario and Manitoba, and Geranda Notten, a professor of comparative public policy at the University of Ottawa Thanks to Justin Trudeau! Conrad Black: Reform of Canada’s Equalization Program Is Sorely Needed (Epoch Times, 6/17/2024) Once again, the equalization program is being challenged by a number of provinces…. The Freedom Party of Canada will do a full revision of the Equalization program to provide equity and fairness to all provinces based upon recent statistics. Canadian Unemployment Rate Rose to 6.4% in June as Jobs Market Stalls (Epoch Times, 7/5/2024) The Canadian job market stalled in June as the economy lost 1,400 jobs and the unemployment rate climbed to its highest level in more than two years, bolstering the case for further interest rate cuts by the Bank of Canada. Statistics Canada noted the unemployment rate has trended up since April 2023, rising 1.3 percentage points over that period. It also said that as the unemployment rate has increased, so has the proportion of long-term unemployed, with 17.6 percent of those unemployed in June having been continuously jobless for 27 weeks or more, up four percentage points from a year earlier.
