Lack of ‘Straight Answers’ From Health Canada on COVID Vaccines Is Concerning, Tory MP Says (Epoch Times, 4/2/2024) A Conservative MP trying to get answers about the COVID-19 vaccines has received only partial responses from Health Canada, including to questions about the presence of a Simian Virus 40 DNA sequence in the Pfizer-BioNTech product. “Canadians were looking for straight answers during the pandemic in order to make important informed decisions, not only about their health, but the health of their kids,” Tory MP Colin Carrie told The Epoch Times in an interview. “When they give you these word salads back, what I’m concerned about is Canadians’ trust in our institutions.” The Freedom Party of Canada reiterates that Health Officials are “Not Elected” and they are acting like they have all the power. Power or perceived power is going to their heads. Our government will make sure they are not able to exercise any power but only to make informed recommendations! UK Has Banned Puberty Blockers for Kids; Here’s What Canadian Provinces Say (Epoch Times, 4/4/2024) The United Kingdom recently decided to ban puberty blockers for minors due to safety concerns, but Alberta remains the only Canadian province planning to do the same. Following the UK ban announced on March 12, the health ministries of Quebec, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories told The Epoch Times they will not consider a ban. The other provinces and territories did not respond by publication time, though Ontario said earlier this year it won’t consider a ban. “We have concluded that there is not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness of PSH [puberty suppressing hormones] to make the treatment routinely available at this time,” the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) said in its decision. Puberty blockers, which pause the physical changes of puberty, will only be permitted as part of clinical research trials in the UK. The NHS said cross-sex hormones can still be prescribed to those 16 years and older. The Canadian Medical Association said it is “deeply concerned” about the UK decision to ban puberty blockers for minors. “Medical associations from coast to coast are deeply concerned about any government proposal that would restrict access to evidence-based medical care for patients, including for the transgender population,” a March 13 statement said. “There is no one-size-fits-all approach for patients experiencing gender dysphoria. Restricting choices and appropriate care for patients can lead to permanent harm.” IT IS CLEAR THAT WOKENESS HAS INVADED OUR MEDICAL HEALTH MINISTRIES!! NHS’s review of the drugs, known as the Cass Review, said in its interim report last year that impacts to the development of the teenage brain are unknown. Impact on the teen brain are unknown but medical authorities give is a “GO”… how irresponsible! Researchers at one of Europe’s top medical schools, Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet, published a study review of puberty blockers and hormone treatments in the peer-reviewed journal Acta Paediatrica in April 2023. “Against the background of almost non-existent longterm data, we conclude that GnRHa [puberty blocker] treatment in children with gender dysphoria should be considered experimental treatment rather than standard procedure. The UK isn’t the first country to backtrack on providing medical interventions like puberty blockers to youth. Finland shifted in 2020 to relying more on psychotherapy for those struggling with gender dysphoria. It did not block puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones, but no surgical transitions are given to those under 18 years. Sweden followed Finland in 2022, advising against prescribing puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries for those under age. Youth in Denmark are mostly referred to counselling support rather than being prescribed puberty blockers. “Bottom” surgeries for minors have also been disallowed in the country. In January, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced that the province would be banning puberty blockers and hormone therapies for those 15 years of age and under. Her government will also ban surgical interventions for those aged 17 and under. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has said he is against giving puberty blockers to minors. Shortly after the UK announced its decision to ban the medication for youth, the CBC French service, or Radio-Canada, released a documentary looking at gender medical care in Quebec. Radio-Canada’s “Trans Express” found that clinics in the province were fast-tracking teens into gender transition by using puberty blockers. It found that some girls were given medications without medical referrals or parental consent. Activists responded by smashing the windows of the media’s headquarters in Montreal, saying it was a “dishonest attack” on the transgender community. “It represents an ideological shift that legitimizes the far right’s transphobic demands, and it will fan the flames of violence against trans communities, currently increasingly targeted,” reads an anonymous statement published on the website Montreal Counter- Information. How is Smoking Meth in BC Hospitals OK but Nurses Refusing Vaccines Isn’t, Conservative MLA Asks (Epoch Times, 4/5/2024) A Conservative MLA in British Columbia is questioning why patients are allowed to smoke meth in provincial hospitals while nurses who decline the COVID-19 vaccine are fired. Bruce Banman made the comments in an April 4 video posted on X by Conservative Party of B.C. candidate Damon Scrase. “We found out that you can smoke meth apparently in the hospitals, that’s allowed, but if you refuse to get the jab you get fired,” Mr. Banman said, referring to a leaked memo that directed hospital staff not to take drugs from patients or interfere if drugs are being delivered to patients. “How is that healthy to anybody?” Mr. Banman asked. Ottawa Dumps $1.6B in Expired COVID-19 Shots While Still Accepting New Deliveries (Epoch Times, 4/8/2024) Ottawa continues to accept COVID-19 vaccine deliveries despite throwing away expired shots worth nearly $1.6 billion, as demand for the shots drops across the country. At least 52.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were discarded as of November 2023, according to a Dec. 6 department briefing note from Health Minister Mark Holland, which was obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter. At an estimated cost of $30 per dose, the total vaccine wastage cost comes in at roughly $1.59 billion. Amidst Growing Resistance, the WHO Turns Up Heat on Members to Sign Pandemic Treaty (Epoch Times, 4/9/2024) ‘We formally reject WHO and any of these international organizations,’ Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said. As the deadline approaches for the 194 member nations of the World Health Organization (WHO) to sign agreements granting broad new powers to this U.N. subsidiary, its advocates are turning up the heat on member countries to get on board, despite growing resistance to the deal. On March 20, WHO Ambassador and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown hailed a campaign by a “100+ pantheon of global leaders” urging member nations to sign. “A high-powered intervention by 23 former national Presidents, 22 former Prime Ministers, a former UN General Secretary, and 3 Nobel Laureates is being made today to press for an urgent agreement from international negotiators on a Pandemic Accord, under the Constitution of the World Health Organization, to bolster the world’s collective preparedness and response to future pandemics,” stated a press release from the office of Gordon and Sarah Brown. This is an EVIL deal that will sign away Canadian Health Sovereignty to the World Health Organization and allow the WHO to say anything is a pandemic to lock you down again and totally control your lives! CDC Study Doesn’t ‘Debunk’ Link Between COVID-19 Vaccines and Sudden Deaths (Epoch Times, 4/13/2024) A new U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study does not disprove a link between COVID-19 vaccines and sudden deaths among young people, contrary to claims. The authors failed to note that a much larger, peer-reviewed study from South Korea confirmed vaccine-induced myocarditis caused eight sudden cardiac deaths (SCDs), all among people younger than 45. Myocarditis is a form of heart inflammation. “The study, from Korea, found a small but significant group of patients who had SCD and autopsy evidence consistent with vaccine-induced myocarditis.” Other papers that support a link between deaths among young people and COVID-19 vaccination include a study that analyzed post-vaccination deaths in Qatar and determined there was a “high probability” that eight sudden cardiac deaths, including one person aged 11 to 20, were caused by the vaccination. Some death certificates have also described COVID-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis as a cause of death for sudden deaths, including the certificate for an American college student who died suddenly after receiving a Pfizer shot. DNA May Be Altered by COVID Infection or Vaccine, Potentially Leading to Cancer (Epoch Times, 3/22/2024) Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen an increase in mortality from cancer in the United States, England, and Wales. China has also reported clusters of blood cancer cases. Multiple factors lie behind this trend in cancer, and DNA impairment appears to be one of them. A 2009 paper in Science and a 2014 Nature article have shown that nonretroviral RNA viruses can be reverse-transcribed into DNA. Subsequently, DNA copies of the RNA viral sequences have been shown to be integrated into human DNA. A May 2021 Massachusetts Institute of Technology study published in PNAS further changed people’s perceptions. After infecting human kidney cells with the virus, researchers found SARS-CoV-2 gene sequences integrated into the human genome. A few studies indicate a link between COVID-19 and an increased incidence of cancer—especially blood cancer, which is highly related to gene alteration. In July 2021, a clinical case report from Iran showed that a 61-year-old man who had recovered from COVID-19 infection 40 days previous was newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. COVID-19 infects nearly 10 percent of the total global population. However, the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to about two-thirds of people on Earth. In February 2022, a study conducted at Lund University in Sweden and published in Current Issues in Molecular Biology showed that mRNA vaccines can integrate into human genes or DNA through reverse transcription. Six, 24, and 48 hours after the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine was added to the liver cancer cell line (Huh7), the corresponding COVID-19 vaccine DNA segments were detected in the liver cells’ DNA. Additionally, spike protein has been shown to hinder the function of DNA self-repair. As early as October 2021, Swedish scientists found that the COVID-19 virus spike protein can impair two human cell DNA self-repair mechanisms, the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) and homologous recombination (HR). Our natural immunity is the most powerful surveillance system we have against cancer cells. An MIT paper by Seneff and her colleagues found that COVID-19 mRNA vaccination induces a substantially impaired type I interferon—a major anti-virus, anti-cancer substance in our body—resulting in an increased risk of cancer. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) showed a significant increase in new cancers following the COVID-19 vaccines, accounting for 98 percent of cancers reported in VAERS in the last 30 years. Study Finds Hearing and Balance Disorders Among COVID-19 Vaccinated (Epoch Times, 2/25/2024) More cases of hearing and balance disorders have been observed after people received COVID-19 vaccines, according to a recent study, which asked vaccinated people to remain alert to such complications. The Australian peer-reviewed study, published in the Vaccine journal on Feb. 22, aimed to determine whether there was an increase in “audiovestibular events” following COVID-19 vaccination in south-eastern Australia. Audiovestibular refers to conditions related to hearing and balance disorders. Researchers found a rise in vertigo and tinnitus cases after vaccination. Tinnitus is a condition that makes an individual hear sounds like humming, ringing, or rushing, in the absence of external stimuli. Vertigo makes people feel like they’re spinning, and can result in dizziness. ANALYSIS: What Canada’s Gender-Transition Industry Is Worth in Dollars and Cents (Epoch Times, 4/19/2024) Gender-transition surgeries can cost tens of thousands of dollars, depending on the procedure. Puberty blockers can cost about $4,800 annually, and feminizing hormone treatments combined can cost more than $3,000 annually per person. The gender-reassignment surgery market was worth about US$701 million (C$970 million) globally in 2023, according to Polaris Market Research. Another estimate, by Grand View Research, puts it at US$2.1 billion in 2022 and projects it will reach US$5 billion by 2030. Alan Cassels, a B.C.-based drug policy researcher and author of the book “Selling Sickness: How the World’s Biggest Pharmaceutical Companies Are Turning Us All Into Patients,” has spent decades examining how the pharmaceutical industry’s interests interact with health care. He told The Epoch Times he’s worried about the boom the gender-transition industry is seeing. “Pharmaceutical companies have so much vested interest in promoting the sale of their treatments, they also get into the promotion of the ‘disease,’” he said, describing a general phenomenon he has observed in the pharmaceutical industry throughout his decades of research. Often, conditions that don’t require medication are nonetheless treated heavily with drugs—each of which has side effects and may be detrimental to the patient in the long run, Mr. Cassels said. Puberty Blockers: About $400 Per Month The most commonly prescribed puberty blocker, Lupron Depot, costs about $400 monthly per patient, according to B.C.’s Provincial Health Services Authority. B.C. PharmaCare also lists two Lupron Depot products as being covered that are up to about $420 each, with a “special authority” request filed by the prescribing doctor. Lupron is approved in Canada for the treatment of precocious puberty (when children start puberty at an exceptionally young age), endometriosis, prostate cancer, and uterine fibroids (growths in the uterus). However, the drug is prescribed off-label for treatment of gender dysphoria, to delay puberty and the developmental changes related to a youth’s biological sex. Lupron is made by Chicago-based company AbbVie Inc., also known for its products Botox and Humira. The company’s net revenue for Lupron was US$783 million (C$1.08 billion) in 2021, according to its annual investor report for that year. Lupron revenue is absent from its subsequent annual investor reports. Male-to-female transitioning often involves the use of both estrogen (usually injected) and anti-androgens, which suppress testosterone. Sometimes progesterone is also included in the regimen, for more rapid feminization and breast development. Estradiol is a commonly prescribed estrogen product. It can cost up to $200 monthly, or $2,400 annually. Gender-reassignment bottom surgeries cost $23,500 on average for vaginoplasty and $85,000 on average for phalloplasty, according to figures provided to The Epoch Times by Alberta’s health ministry. In the United States, vaginoplasty costs over US$50,000 and phalloplasty costs over US$130,000 per person in some instances … The latest Statistics Canada data on the nation’s transgender and non-binary population comes from the 2021 census. It found that one in 300 people in the country aged 15 and older identified as such. That works out to be a meagre 0.34% of the population… a huge minority! Huge minority.. is that a contradiction in terms? Lol…you know what I mean! Is it any wonder there is such a push to “indoctrinate” those under 15 years old with the Gender Ideology? Study Finds ‘Significant Increase’ in Cancer Mortality After Mass Vaccination With 3rd COVID Dose (Epoch Times, 4/19/2024) Researchers observed “statistically significant increases” in mortality rates of all cancers, especially estrogen-related cancers, following mass vaccination with the third mRNA COVID- 19 vaccine, according to a recent paper. The study, published on April 8 in Cureus, evaluated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on age-adjusted mortality rates for 20 different types of cancer in Japan using official statistics on death, SARS-CoV-2 infections, and vaccination rates. The researchers made a startling discovery: There were no excess cancer deaths in Japan during the first year of the pandemic, but they observed a rise in cancer mortality coinciding with mass vaccination. According to the study, the number of deaths from all cancers was highest in the 80 to 84 age group, of which more than 90 percent had received a third vaccine dose. Minister Says He Was Taken Aback After Learning Deadly Viruses Were Shipped From Winnipeg Lab to Wuhan (Epoch Times, 4/18/2024) After learning that samples of deadly Ebola and Nipah viruses had been sent from Canada’s top-security lab in Winnipeg to China, Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc said his reaction was similar to that of an MP who expressed incredulity upon learning of the move. “I’m really concerned about the March 2019 incident where [Winnipeg lab scientists Xiangguo Qiu and Keding Cheng] were implicated in a shipment of live Ebola in Hanipah [Nipah] viruses on a commercial Air Canada flight. How the hell did that happen?” NDP MP Charlie Angus asked during a House of Commons Canada-China committee meeting on April 15. In response, Mr. LeBlanc said, “When I saw that report, and publicly, I had the same reaction as you.” The minister deferred Mr. Angus’ question to the Public Health Agency of Canada, saying, “I don’t have any [information], but I had the same reaction as you, Mr. Angus.” The National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) in Winnipeg shipped 15 different strains of Nipah and Ebola viruses to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China on March 31, 2019. The package was sent from Winnipeg to Toronto and then on to Beijing via a commercial Air Canada flight. The request to the NML management for the shipment of the viruses was facilitated by Ms. Qiu. The shipments were eventually approved by the NML management. Ms Qiu and Mr. Cheng, a married couple, were escorted out of the NML in July 2019 while under RCMP investigation. The couple were fired from their positions on Jan. 20, 2021, for having undisclosed ties to Chinese regime entities. In 2021, in response to MPs’ questions about why the NML shipped virus samples to the Wuhan lab, laboratory management said the shipment followed all proper protocols and was in response to a letter from the Chinese lab indicating that they were to be used to understand their pathophysiology—the nature of infection—and the development of antivirals. The preprint study, published in ResearchGate, investigated death rates from neoplasms in the United States. Neoplasm refers to an abnormal mass of tissue caused by cells dividing and growing more than normal or not dying when they should. Some neoplasms can be malignant, like cancers, and can spread or invade other tissues and parts of the body. “Additionally, one cannot disregard the possibility of continuous COVID-19 infections or Long COVID being contributors towards increased incidence or severity of cancers.” Multiple studies have linked COVID-19 vaccines with the risk of new cancers or worsening existing ones. A May 2023 study found that individuals subjected to repeated mRNA vaccinations and high antigen concentrations may experience increased synthesis of igG4 antibodies that can “promote cancer growth” among susceptible people. Modified RNA in COVID Vaccines May Contribute to Cancer Development: Review (Epoch Times, 4/17/2024) The mRNA used in the COVID-19 vaccines has been modified from its naturally occurring form to prevent degradation by the immune system when injected. In a review published on April 5, researchers argue that modification—specifically, N1-methyl-pseudouridine modification—to mRNA causes immune suppression that may contribute to cancer development. Stuck on Failure at the WHO (Epoch Times, 4/14/2024) Four years have passed since the onset of COVID-19 and the global mishandling of its spread. Now, the same governments and international organizations that lied about the last pandemic are negotiating a new pandemic agreement and amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) at the World Health Organization (WHO). Beijing is now collaborating with the Biden administration on this new accord. So naturally, the new agreement advances China’s interests. Successive drafts focus on everything from sending taxpayer dollars overseas to weakening intellectual property rights and empowering the WHO over the national sovereignty of the United States. In addition, the agreement would take a sledgehammer to American First Amendment free speech rights. The willingness of governments to use the pandemic to clamp down on unpopular ideas and opinions to “protect” public health and safety has proven durable. And this new agreement instructs governments to “cooperate, in accordance with national law, in preventing misinformation and disinformation.” Indeed, the WHO itself seems offended by criticism. Earlier this year, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said negotiations were occurring in a very difficult environment, facing a “torrent of fake news, lies, and conspiracy theories.” Ironically, this argument was the same one used against conservatives who subscribed to the increasingly credible lab leak theory. In short, the new pandemic agreement should alarm all Americans. It is far more focused on redistributing income, transferring technology, and weakening intellectual property than on preventing, detecting, and responding to pandemics in the first place. It failed to address the elephant in the room—the total lack of enforcement in the IHR—and as written, it is nothing short of a power grab by the CCP-controlled WHO. Any such agreement with the WHO will not be welcomed by the Freedom Party of Canada. Man Found Guilty of Violating Court Order in Effort to Prevent Daughter From Getting COVID Vaccine (Epoch Times, 4/20/2024) A Saskatchewan man who kept his daughter away from her mother to prevent the child from getting the COVID-19 vaccine has been found guilty of violating a custody order arrangement with his ex-wife. Michael Gordon Jackson did not return his daughter to the mother, who had primary custody, after a weekend visit in November 2021. The girl was 7 years old at the time, according to CBC News. Police found the two in Vernon, B.C., in February 2022. At Regina’s Court of King’s Bench, Mr. Jackson said he had taken the girl to prevent the mother from giving her the COVID-19 vaccine. He told the court he believed the vaccine would harm his daughter. “The father was concerned the mother would not listen to his opposition to the vaccine and was further concerned she was taking no independent steps to research the appropriateness and the efficacy of the vaccine,” court documents said. Decision Reserved in Case of Ontario Doctor Who Questioned COVID Lockdowns (Epoch Times, 4/10/2024) An Ontario doctor who was critical of COVID lockdowns argued her case in court on April 10. Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill was trying to quash three cautions placed on her public file by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The cautions were made after two tweets in 2020 by Dr. Gill, in which she questioned COVID lockdowns. Dr. Gill became well known during the COVID-19 pandemic for her online challenges to the government’s public health restrictions. Dr. Gill, who specializes in pediatrics, allergy, and clinical immunology, amassed a significant following on X, formerly known as Twitter, where she expressed opinions and concerns about government’s pandemic response, including the potential negative effects of lockdowns and other mandates. On March 24, Elon Musk’s X announced that it would help pay her legal bills in trying to get the cautions overturned, saying in a post, “X is proud to help defend Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill against the government-supported efforts to cancel her speech.” COVID Spike Proteins Help Cancer Cells Survive, Resist Chemotherapy: Brown University Preprint Paper (Epoch Times, 4/22/2024) Spike protein from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, potentially promotes cancer by interfering with anti-cancer activities, according to a recent preprint cell study from Brown University. The preprint authors, led by Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, director of the Cancer Center at Brown University, exposed cancer cells to spike protein subunits. They found that the spike subunits may promote cancer survival and growth by blocking a cancer suppressor gene known as p53. Hence another reason we should hold our politicians and Health Officers accountable for their actions during the Plan-demic while pushing an experimental vaccine that hadn’t been tested long term. Excess Deaths in Japan Hit 115,000 Following 3rd COVID Shot; New Study Explains Why (Epoch Times, 4/22/2024) A new study on harms resulting from the COVID vaccine was published on April 8 in the U.S.- based peer-reviewed medical science journal Cureus. It represents the largest study to date on adverse effects of the COVID vaccine, and the results are shocking, to put it mildly. In the study, titled “Increased Age-Adjusted Cancer Mortality After the Third mRNA-Lipid Nanoparticle Vaccine Dose During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Japan,” five Japanese scientists used an entire dataset of the country’s 123 million population (Japan has the highest vaccination rate in the world) to study excess cancer mortalities coinciding with mass COVID vaccination. The study shows there were 1,568,961 total deaths in Japan in 2022. About 1,453,162 deaths were expected based on statistical predictions using pre-pandemic information, which means there were 115,799 excess deaths in 2022. The authors also provide a sound explanation as to why these deaths occurred after the mRNA injection. The study shows there were 1,568,961 total deaths in Japan in 2022. About 1,453,162 deaths were expected based on statistical predictions using pre-pandemic information, which means there were 115,799 excess deaths in 2022. This information appears among multiple emails between staff from key drug regulators, including Health Canada (HC), the U.S. Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). In March, Health Canada said in a document tabled in Parliament that “any claims that the presence of the SV40 promoter enhancer sequence is linked to an increased risk of cancer are unfounded.” Dr. Buckhaults has started a scientific study to ascertain those risks. Ring the alarm—Canada is failing to safeguard those with mental illness from MAID (The Hub, April 25, 2024) Parliament voted in 2021 to legalize “medical assistance in dying” (MAID) for people whose sole underlying condition is mental illness. But after wrestling with the ethical and practical complications of MAID for mental illness, parliamentarians have delayed the coming into force of that law until 2027. Patients eligible for MAID in Canada are separated into “track 1” and “track 2,” which require slightly different processes and safeguards. Track 1 is for those whose natural death is reasonably foreseeable, while track 2 is for those who have an irremediable medical condition but are not nearing death. Canada’s current MAID law excludes MAID for mental illness as the sole underlying medical condition. But our law does not exclude MAID for mental illness entirely. Even if a MAID request is related to a patient’s mental illness, they may still receive MAID provided they have another irremediable condition that causes intolerable physical or psychological suffering. For example, an able-bodied patient who is depressed is not eligible for MAID. But a person with a serious disability caused by a major accident may be, even if they are not nearing natural death. BC Reverses Course on Drug Decriminalization After Public Backlash (Epoch Times, 4/26/24) The government of British Columbia is changing course on public drug use. “Illicit drugs and hard drugs should not be used where kids are playing, where patients are recovering, or community life is lived,” Premier David Eby told a news conference on April 26. As a result, he said, the B.C. government is asking Health Canada to “urgently change” the province’s decriminalization policy to stop drug use in public. In a statement, Mr. Eby said the change would make illicit drug use illegal in all public places, including inside hospitals, on transit, and in parks. Dumb and Dumber!
